These are the results of the 1995 tournaments that I can find.
Only the winners are listed. The format follows: date, tournament
and winner. * indicates first-time winners. Previous years winners
are indicated in parenthesis under the tournament name. The
tournament listing include PGA, Senior PGA, LPGA, Nike and any
other tournaments available. |
| The LPGA Tour has a week off before heading abroad for the
Samsung World Championship of Womens Golf in Seoul, South Korea.
Seoul Lakeside Country Club will play host to the 16-player field
vying for the winners portion of the $525,000 purse. Defending
1995 and 1996 champion Annika Sorenstam will be attempting to
three-peat at this prestigious event. Some of the notable
players in pursuit of the champions check will be the 1997
winners of the LPGAs four major tournaments, Nabisco Dinah Shore
winner Betsy King, McDonalds LPGA Championship winner Chris
Johnson, U.S. Womens Open champion Alison Nicholas and Colleen
Walker, winner of the du Maurier Classic. |

LOPEZ OUT OF LPGA CHAMPIONSHIP FOR KNEE SURGERY
Two-time LPGA Championship winner Nancy Lopez withdrew from the $1.4 million
tournament on Wednesday to have knee surgery and will be out of action a month. |
